WHO ARE YOU?

Have you discovered yourself? If yes, tell me do you really know who you are? I am going to speak from my own personal experience. I have realized that as we grow each and every day; we start to discover our purpose or rather we begin to understand our purpose better. I have also discovered that so many things we desire to be as a child because we have seen people succeed in it, doesn't mean that’s what we are called for. Nobody desires to be a failure but if you are operating outside of your God given purpose my friend you are a Failure. Often times even after we have discovered ourselves, either through life’s event or any other way. We expect it to happen automatically. Life has thought me that just as you have discovered yourself so has the enemy of greatness. And he will do all he can to frustrate you from fulfilling destiny. Darling it’s not because of you, it’s because of how many others your discovery will save. Our God given purpose is not for us to liberate ourselves and family, we are called for a greater work. It is very important we affect even our community and the world at large. So can you imagine how many the devil will lose if you succeed? He will try all he can to keep you in bondage of darkness so as not to realize “WHO YOU ARE”. I am not writing only for people who are yet to discover themselves but most especially people who have discovered themselves and have allowed one or two failures distract them from their true identity. The minute you realize this is the devil trying to frustrate your fulfillment, you will not stay down; rather you will keep rising each time you fall. Often times writers don’t tell us the reality of life, a lot of people are living a fictitious lifestyle. It’s not because they don’t want to tell the truth but the fear of being judge by the truth. I am not called to write as if life came as a magic even though am yet to get to my destination, our foundation is laid from now. Don’t wait until you get there, set a standard now. One day each one of you will have my book in your hand, the truth of it will offend a lot of people yet it will liberate a lot of souls. My focus is the souls it will liberate because am called because of them. After you have discovered yourself, from my experience you will still fail but the joy of updating my Blog this morning is the Greatest Love of the one who created me. I don’t know about you but I am not an ordinary person. I am greatness itself not because of myself but the unfailing Love of God that uphold me. In case you are wondering what am talking about, sorry that’s how much I have discovered myself. I AM A LOVED CHILD. Hate me or love me, all that matter is the love from above, my friend if you have that you have it all. Sometimes it takes a wrong step to discover you, nobody want trials and tribulation. We all desire to be great. Only a great man who has been tested can stand, life has thought me that. I don’t know what you believe in but I testify to you, so many times have lost my mind, but I NEVER WOULD HAVE MADE IT THIS FAR WITHOUT HIM, I NEVER COULD HAVE MADE IT WITHOUT HIM. I receive strength each day and I get better every day. It is also important to have people who believe in you, that also strengthens you but before you confide in anyone make sure He/She is really a confidant not someone who wants to hear your story for fun or feel better about themselves. I pray for you in this Journey of discovery the Most High shall be your true guide, He is available to be your true guide are you willing to be lead by Him? Love you all.

LIGHT AT MY FEET

I am a big fan of Tyler Perry, His Movies and play aint only inspiring but they are Godly, educative, real and even encouraging.You relate with it like its telling your own story. I am sure anyone who has seen one of His Movies would have his/her own opinion but my post is about what I read on his Facebook page, all through the weekend I couldn't stop thinking about it, one would expect that my first post this year should say something about my resolution or so, but I promise you this is more inspiring thaN anything I would have wanted to write.

"To all of you that use the cell phone light like I do, I just want to say this. For me, as I was walking through my dark house trying to get to my bedroom, it was truly an exercise in faith. I could only see the light at my feet. I had to trust that even though I could only see three feet in front of me, if I kept following this light, I would get there. It reminded me of a scripture in the bible, Psalm 119:105 "The word is a lamp unto my feet and a light into my pathway." Back in those days when people would travel through the night, they would use little lamps that were attached to their feet. The lamp only gave them enough light to see just a few steps in front of them. As long as they kept moving, they could find their way. If they stopped moving, so did the light. This moved me because this is how I have lived my entire life. I have always walked by faith. Sometimes there was only a little light, a little hope that kept me moving. There were so many times that I didn’t know how I was going to make it. So many times I didn’t know where my next meal was coming from, if my hope would be realized or if my dreams would come true. But no matter how dark it got, I kept moving. That is one of the keys to making your dreams come true. JUST KEEP MOVING FORWARD! If you’d allow me to, I’d like to challenge you to do more of that this year. Live by faith! No matter what you see happening around you, no matter how dark it may be, follow the lamp at your feet that God provides to us all, no matter who we are. A small step is still a step forward. At the top of every year, I stop and go away to reflect. I will usually take out my journal and read over some of the past years and look at all the things God brought me through, no matter how dark the times. What rereading my journal taught me is that there was always a lamp at my feet. I think if you look at your life, you’ll see a lamp too. :-) If you don’t, look closer. I promise you it's there! If you’re struggling in any way, financially, school, business, relationships, children, sickness, heartache, I so believe that God will be a light unto your pathway. IF YOU LET HIM!! Stop looking for the light at the end of the tunnel and look at the light at your feet and you’ll get there. I hope you remember this every time you use your cell to light a path. THE GREATEST LORD OF ALL

unbounding majesty i see i am part of you infinite essence i shall fear no fall for i know you'll be there to lift me up lord you are the greatest there is none like thee. the omnipotent,the incomprehensible essence of a supreme force,the incomparable genius of an undeniable presence. VOLUNTEERING OR SERVING???

Most times when we get lazy to do some prominent things, We should not allow the flesh to overcome us because something special might be on the way. I got up very lazy to go to church today, I made too many excuses within myself. don't get me wrong I love to be in His presence, but most times I use the evening service to make up for the morning one...Its not enough. I dragged myself reluctantly got dressed and took my little Prince off we go.........As I drove, I was meditating on what I would speak about when am leading prayer in the prayer group next week. A whole lot of ideas came but then I could hear a quiet voice tell me, stop trying I would lead you. So I got to church and the service went as normal until the message time, and I knew right away why I came to church today. Presently am part of a ministry where have joined various group in other to be of services to the ministry and community at large, Its an Outreach. I avoid being a worker in church,I let my shyness and all other excuses take me away. Infact the first church I serviced, I did a behind the scene work which I loved but serving is not about where we want to be,rather where he want to send us. before I go into details of the topic, I would like to include the dictionary meaning of each word. Volunteer can simply be defined as A person who renders aid, performs a service, or assumes an obligation voluntarily, while the Act of Service is simply defined as the act of delivering a writ or summons upon someone. my opinion, they both mean the same thing but I think I heard this message because I need to change my attitude towards the service am rending to people especially in the house of God. Most of us when we are called to serve, we don't see it as a privilege, some of us even agree to do it just to please the Pastor. if you are reading this right now and you are serving your community, church or any other organization voluntarily ask yourself now, Why am I doing this? It is because we don't know why we are doing it that is why we don't give the right attitude to it. I realized today that the call I got to serve is not from anyone but the King Himself, It is the reason I was saved. Its not like we don't know this things but when we are reminded, It help us get the right spirit in whatever we do. We make excuses like volunteering is for some special people. We are called to serve 1 Peter 4:10 "As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of God's varied grace" we are called to serve in His army...God's will and God's way.

We are not just called to work in the ministry or our community for their gain,Its much deeper than that,we have to realize He is calling us to serve in His army. He might even ask us to do what we don't like. This days people only want to do the forefront work not dirty work, we do not realize Its the little we all do that actually rescue someone. When we are serving we think nothing is happening but the little we do has its daily effect. Our service is our Gratitude to His Love.I urge you today if you are already serving or still thinking about it. Do it with the right attitude, Live with a passion for His will, Serving is not a feeling. Our service should be Love and Gratitude based not Need base.Let your passion lead you by His spirit. Start where you can, with what you have. God is positioning you to check if there is a willingness to serve Him. Your service can rescue someone. All our service put together can rescue a life. He requires commitment from us.Take up what you have and give it. But remember none of this things can be done on our own. To serve right, Work under the control of the Holy Spirit. Allow the Holy Spirit to work His work through you. Live a life yielded to the Holy Spirit and serve with Joy. A grateful people knowing what we have been saved for.Duet28:47. Be Joyful serving, Serve the king with Gladness.... As for me and my household we would serve the Lord....
